Especially,at the time fortepiano was just recognized by the public. It is pity the time Climenti lived which had Mozart and Beethoven. His ability of being a composer and performer was overwhelmed by his contemporary. I believe his effort on piano pedagogy is also respectable and noteworthy. Meanwhile he never hesitated to give his compliment to someone such as Mozart who had a higher reputation than him.
Clementi is good model for me who wants to be a good piano teacher in the future.
